A French Adrian Helmet - Used by Lebanon to Gain Independance from France
This is a c1915 French Adrian Helmet that was obviously used by the French Army WWI. This one has been sprayed with the Lebanese Phalanges Mark to the front which would suggest the Lebanese Independance movement headed by the Phalanges group, had commandeered it and used it for there own needs in Driving the French Out of Lebanon in the 70's. An Interesting lot.
It has some good age and wear, a rebuilt Liner (but awesomely hand stitched thick black leather), what looks like the original chin strap, and with that Phalanges mark this could be an historical item. A Nice collectible conversation piece in good condition.
