Italian Manuscript Dated 19th February 1512 !!
This manuscript is approx 8 pages and it was done per the date 19th February 1512. It was bought by our Vendors Father in 1987 when staying in Milan Italy. He was passing an antique book store and he went in for a look. After enjoying the store for hours.... on his exit this manuscript was sticking out of a bookshelf... so he pulled it out. It looked mysterious so he negotiated and bought it. He has since had it viewed by the Literature professor at Sydney University in 2006. The professor noted the front page was written in Italian, but the rest of it is in Latin...and the document is in fact a Notarial Instrument of Investiture. An Investiture is granting someone rank or honours, or giving them a title. This document is that document and to be Notarised and made official with its signing It is in fragile condition... but what an interesting antiquity from over 400 years ago. There is also an Italian Crest stamped inside the back cover.
It measures approx 26cm by 20cm and comes with the University Professors Letter.

Collection time frame is strictly 5 days after the auction... which is by 5pm the Friday following the sale
