SS Ground Rohm Dagger w/ Sheath & Belt Clip (Marked)
Early Model 1933 SS dagger. Full ground Rohm, featuring vertical hangers with DRGM stamp. Lower crossguard is district stamped III for Berlin. The scabbard has been restored at some point, but is in good order with minimal damage, and good fit which snaps to a close.
Dagger is made by G.Hammesfahr of Soligen, acid etched with "Meine Ehre Heisst Treue"
Maker mark "Gottlieb Hammesfahr Soligen Foche". The dagger originally featured the Rohm inscription, but that has been completely removed under instruction by Hitler. After Rohm died in 1934 Hitler ordered that all Rohm Inscriptions be removed from the SS Dagger. This is a very good and rare Collectible.
