Selling with Danielle Elizabeth Auctions
For estates and large consignments please call us to make an appointment with our Director on 0426 254 797.
If you have digital images of the items you wish to sell you are welcome to email those through to us at [email protected] and we can provide you with possible auction estimates based on these images. Bear in mind these estimates do not constitute a formal appraisal of the fair market value of the property, and are not generally suitable for insurance or other purposes.
Selling at Auction
As we are not a general auction house but try to deal in the quality end of the market. We cannot accept every item you wish to consign. Each entry will be vetted to make sure they are of the quality and interest to our specialized buyers.
If your item is accepted for sale (at our discretion) we allow each vendor to reserve their item for one auction only. This is provisional upon the reserve being inline with the Auctioneers assessment. After the first auction if the reserve was not met, the vendor will have the option of withdrawing the item and collecting within three days after the auction, or to resubmit the item unreserved for the second sale. In between the first and second sale, we will submit the item for sale by private treaty. If the item cannot be sold at the time of lotting the second sale, it will be catalogued and sold unreserved in that second sale. Due to the work we do on each item once we receive it, if an item is withdrawn from our sale once catalogued (from any auction) there will be a $50 withdrawal fee per lot charged.
Vendors with sold items will be sent a detailed sales invoice within 14 days of the auction end, with payment via wire transfer into their designated account as noted on their original consignment form. Sales commission is 20% plus GST.
If Vendors Submit items into our sale with an unreserved sale price and it does not sell, or if they submit it reserved, but it does not sell, and they choose to withdraw the item. These goods must be collected within 3 days after the auction, or the vendor understands and agrees that after the sale we (the auction house) may send these items off to Charity to be sold and do good in our community. We are regular contributors to St Vincent De Paul, The Salvos, and the Animal Welfare League.
