37cm High Bronze Figure of Bathing Venus
This is an excellent casting. Often in small scale bronze casting the fine detail like faces etc come out very poorly. This one has excellent definition and her face is lovely. It is the classic Bathing venus figure. The Bathing Venus is a bronze sculpture attributed to Giambologna (1529-1608), the leading late Renaissance sculptor in Europe. It was most likely created for King Henri IV of France. This is a scaled down copy, but very heavy bronze and a good copy at that. she is 37cm high. This would make a good executives office Ornament.
