Description:

A 1914 UK Made Dogtag Machine For WWI Soldiers
How Interesting is this. This is what they term the Addressograph 6100 which was used in 1914 to make Dogtags for the Allied Forces. These were invented in 1892 by J.S. Duncan... and brought into use by the British Armed Forces at the start of WWI to register soldiers. This machine is in working order. It comes with approx 100 Blank Aluminium Plates for embossing on, and should be in a museum. The wooden handle needs a glue but apart from that this is in very good rare condition.
It measures approx 50cm wide by 40cm high and weighs approx 35kgs
