A Beautiful Chinese Mid Qing Ginger Jar c1840
This is a top piece. Beautiful Blue Underglaze hand painting, and it certainly looks early 19th Century. It has a turned Red Timber lid that fits just right. Often over the years the lids may get lost or broken and they would get a turned wooden lid as a replacement. So the lid may not be original to the piece but it is an old replacement. This vase wreaks soul and age. It measures approx 23cm high and wide.
