A Cold Cast Bronze of Marie Therese De Lamballe
Marie Therese De Lamballe went to the French royal court after her marriage breakdown (at the age of 18) and became the confidante of Queen Marie Antoinette. She was killed in the massacres of September 1792 during the French Revolution. This bust of her was originally a Bronze bust by Albert Carrier. Albert-Ernest Carrier-Belleuse was a French sculptor. He was one of the founding members of the Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts, and was made an officer of the Legion of Honour. This Cold Cast Bronze is a copy off the A.Carrier original, it has been beautifully Antiqued and stands 44cm high. Its in excellent clean condition.

We now have a link on our website that will direct you to Pack and Send for collection and shipping of your purchases. There are three local Pack and Sends you can obtain quotes from... Tweed Heads, Mermaid Beach and the other is Southport. For all larger items just email us and we can suggest a number of carriers to assist with interstate or local door to door delivery. We do not have time to ship anymore so please understand you must use Pack & Send, or Furniture carriers for larger items. Collection time frame is strictly 5 days after the auction... which is by 5pm the Friday following the sale
