Description:

A German Lot - Brooch, Cornelian Seal & Silver Rosary Beads
This is an excellent and interesting lot. We have a German Silver Brooch with 1 Mark Coin set to the centre. The Boat brooch it was set in has the words Sachsen on the side which refers to the The Sachsen class of armored corvettes (or ships) built by the Imperial German Navy in the late 1870s to early 1880s. The ships—Sachsen, Bayern, Württemberg, and Baden—were designed to operate as part of an integrated coastal defense network. This is a commemorative early 20th century Brooch. It is paired with a very rare German Seal with Cornelian Stone (yet to be etched) The top features a Hunter with Dead Boar at his feet and a chopped log and a dog. Then finally there is a set of Silver Rosary Beads, in a brass and mother of pearl box
