A Haitian Vodou Flag - Hand Embroidered
Haitian Vodou is an African diasporic religion that developed in Haiti between the 16th and 19th centuries. Vodou flags are displayed in the vodou sanctuaries and are carried at the commencement of a ceremony. A manje sèk (dry meal) is an offering of grains, fruit, and vegetables that often precedes a simple ceremony; it takes its name meaning the absence of blood.
This flag is absolutely incredible, vibrant, intricate and in excellent condition.
