A Large Chinese Dragon and Phoenix Decor Urn
This is a lovely colourful Chinese hand painted decor urn. It features the Dragon and the Phoenix in deep relief, which represent the Yin and Yang of Marital harmony. The dragon will bring prosperity, harmony and good luck whilst the phoenix will bring out the best in the female. Note also the top and the handles are adorned in peaches which is the Chinese symbol for Longevity. This piece is all handmade, and hand painted. It is hard to date but i think early 20th Century. There is no damage.
It stands 47cm high
