A Late Victorian Cast Iron Moneybox Marked 1898
This sure looks the real deal. There a lot of mid 20th Century copies of these but this has the old key box to the base, and the makers mark of Shephards Hardware 1898. The age and patina on this looks excellent. There is one of these online in the US Today for $6295.00. Grab a bargain...
