Description:

A Mid Century Indigenous Dot Painting on Ironbark - Remote NT c1960
This is not your Darwin airport tourist piece here folks. Our Vendor was a Diamond explorer flying into remote areas of the Northern Territory in his Helicopter. These communities he worked with were as remote as you could get, and one them painted this Barramundi on an Ironbark Panel as a gift for him. This is what the Art world should be going crazy over regards indigenous art. Remote, Authentic, and painted before the global hype.
It measures approx 90cm wide by 45cm
