A Montague McDonald Original c1940's
Montague Mcdonald is a good Australian Listed Artist. He was a Finalist in the Wynn Prize for 1947 and ended losing to Russell Drysdale who we all know. But Montague Mcdonald was a top shelf artist of his day. This piece is titled Storm in the Scrubland, it is one of his originals and is signed by him bottom right corner.
It also comes in this good Period 40's picture frame.
It measures 67cm wide by 56cm high
