A Politically Interesting Third Reich Postcard 1939
Hitler resented the Treaty from WWI taking Poland from the Germans.... so in 1939 he invaded Poland annexing most of West Poland and Danzig. This was actually the catalyst for the west coming into the war. He quickly had the marketing machine operating and produced this postcard showing Danzig controlled by the Third Reich (note the sun streaming through the clouds now that Germany was in control :) amazing Promotional experts. The card is dated 1939 to the back, and it is filled out by a German signing off Heil Hitler to whom ever they were sending the card to. This card is very interesting social, political, military, and Marketing history. A genuine Piece.
