A Rare Limited Edition Print - First Aust Touring Cricket Team 1878
This is numbered 482 of only 1500 and is a print off the original painting. The original painting held in Canberra is a priceless Historical record of Australia's first ever Touring Cricket Team in 1878. They travelled by ship to London and played Wilshires Gentleman in this painting. The Australians won scoring 182 runs against 159 for the English Side. Players included in this painting you may recognize as pioneer cricket greats such as the Bannerman brothers, and Fred Spofforth. This piece also comes with its authenticity certificate. There is some foxing on the piece but the colours are still excellent. This is a good and rare Piece. It measures 67cm by 57cm high
