A Stunning Hand Embroidered Art Piece - Kyoto Japan
This is exceptional work. I know its hard to reconcile if you are new to Japanese Embroidery ....but what looks like brush strokes are actually silk threads hand embroidered. So this whole Coastal scene is embroidered Silk on Silk. It is c1940-1950 hand done in Kyoto Japan. It is beautifully box framed, with original sellers sticker still to the back.
The whole piece measures 64cm wide by 55cm high
