An Early Chinese Dragon Vase - Converted into a Lamp
It is hard to tell how early this is as the base is covered with a carved rosewood stand,... and the top of the vase is covered with a bronze cap. But this piece does appear to be at least 19th Century. This came from the personal collection of Sir James Henderson and he sure seemed to know what he was doing. It has been converted to a lamp which is working fine and it has been re-wired to have an inline switch on it. This is a very interesting piece. As a lamp it stands approx 75cm high, and the vase alone is 44cm high
