Description:

An Ernest Borel 1950's Swiss Cocktail Watch - Working
Ernest Borel was founded in 1856 by Jules Borel and Paul Courvoisier in Neuchâtel, Switzerland. Initially known as "Borel Courvoisier + Cie," the brand began by producing pocket watches.

In the late 19th century, the company changed their name to "Ernest Borel" as the brand identity.

In 1952 and 1953, Ernest Borel patented and introduced the "Cocktail" line of watches respectively. These watches often featured delicate designs, gemstone embellishments, a moving kaleidoscope at the center of the dial, and intricate craftsmanship. The Cocktail watch was discontinued in 1975 when the company was bought out due to the quartz crisis.

Here we have a 1960s Ernest Borel Cal 26 Kaleidoscope Cocktail Ladies Mechanical Watch in near mint condition. It features a 17 Jewel mechanism with Exhibition Case. It is ticking away beautifully, and it comes with gold plated expanding band.
No My pics are not blurry, the Kaleidoscope centre is always spinning so taking a photo the centre always looks blurry :)
