An Erte Bronze - Emerald Night - Signed & Numbered
Romain de Tirtoff (23 November 1892 – 21 April 1990), known by the pseudonym Erté (from the French pronunciation of his initials: [??te]), was a Russian-born French artist and designer. He was a 20th-century artist and designer in an array of fields, including fashion, jewellery, graphic arts, costume and set design for film, theatre, and opera, and interior decor. At the age of 88 he began bronze sculpting. This is a limited edition Erte Bronze Numbered 23 /375 and also marked Chalk & Vermillion as the licensee to produce. This piece is extremely heavy, it sits 55cm tall and sells for around $9500.00 USD... grab a bargain... this is estate Unreserved!
