Lot 76
An Interesting Lot of 13 Reichswehr Collectors Cards
The Reichswehr were set up from 1919-1935. After WWI Germany were not allowed to have an army, so they developed a 115,000 strong Reichswehr force that were subject to severe limitations and restrictions under the terms of the Versailles Treaty. This army were considered a Cadre army until Hitler took power in 1935 and Announced the regaining of Military Sovereignty. He then re-organised the Reichswehr into the Wehrmacht and brought Germany to Military dominance again.
These cards are essentially youth cards for children to collect showing the Reichswehr at work.
Very Very interesting Military history. These cards are in excellent condition. They measure approx 65mm by 55mm
