Description:

An Original 100 Mark German War Bond c1936
How interesting is this. It is a 100 Mark German War Bond issued in August 1936. Essentially give your money to the government and they will give you this war bond. A war bond is a promise from the govt to repay you plus interest at a set maturity date... (as long as they win the war), i'd be taking it to Angela Merkel for a payout.
In 1936 1 goldmark was equal to 1/2790 kg of Feingold (or fine gold). This bond was for 100 of those.
This is history, you've gotta love it.
The government would take your money and buy more guns, boots and trucks for the war effort.
How Rare is this war bond do you think!!
