An Original Oil - Signed MAA '54 - Scandinavian
This is an interesting piece. I researched for a long time but could not find any reference to an artist. Then i discovered this Scandinavian Art website selling antique oils that are very very similar in style to this piece. Artists such as Maarbjerg for example. And the date on this piece being 1954 fits right into the timing when Sir James was in Iceland etc. This is an interesting piece, could be a sleeper.
Its in very good condition, and measures 84cm wide by 69cm high
