c1894 Japanese Imari Charger - Koransha Mark Fukigawa
In 1894 The Koransha Factory was being run by two brothers from the Fukigawa Family. Chuji Fukagawa Wanted to expand sales to foreign markets and so he broke away from the Koransha business and started his own Fukagawa Porcelain Manufacturing company at Arita. This Stunning Imari Charger bears the Koransha mark (which is the Blue lotus flower- as shown). There is no damage or repairs and the diameter of this charger is 35cm... This has come from a Museum quality collection and is cheap at that start price.
