c1901 French Honour Medal for Courage & Devotion
The Honour medal is a French Decoration that is bestowed to individuals for acts of courage during a rescue. This medal was created on March 2nd 1820 by King Louise XVIII, there are several different designs during its long History. Many of these were awarded after WWI and WWII. This is a bronze medal in excellent condition with original ribbon.
