"Constantine the Great" Roman Bronze Coin 335-337AD
By c330AD Constantine the Great completed his new capital for the Roman Empire and called it Constantinople after Himself (it was originally the ancient Greek city called Byzantium), To Commemorate the completion of this new capital he issued this bronze coin with Roma bust to one side, and the other had the Wolf suckling Romulus and Remus with 2 stars above. The two stars represent Rome & Constantinople as the now two official Capitals of the roman empire. This is a rare antiquity collectors coin.... 14mm diameter and weighing 1.4 grams
