Lot 100
Full Profile of German Duel War Veteran Michael Stegmaier
This lot includes the Paperwork for Michael when he was discharged from the German Army after WWI, it is essentially an Honourable discharge letter (the small paper). It comes with Michaels Service Medal, his Iron Cross Second Class, and his Wound Medal. The Larger paper is his application to join what would become the Third Reich Army in 1929. There are also three photos of Michael, one on his own and two with his Regiment. This is an interesting look through Michaels Life through both wars. The Paperwork shows he was born in 1897, he was a horse groomer, he was evangelical religious, and was married with one child.
