German WWII Trench Art - Genuine Piece
During the War between combat,.... Soldiers were often in Trenches for days on end awaiting instructions, or more back up troops etc so they would fill in the time making things with what they had. We've all seen the Vases they made out of Artillery shell casings. Well this was obviously a German Soldier who came across a square piece of Aluminium and worked away carving a Swastika Pendant out of it. I have never seen another, this is most certainly a trench Art Original. It measures approx 50mm by 50mm
