Ridiculously Good c1908 18ct Gold Pocket Watch
This is as good as they come. It is Hallmarked John Dyson & Sons, Sheffield and has the 18ct Mark. John Dyson & Sons of Bridgegate, Leeds are listed as being active between 1860s until 1980s (Loomes). They will have had the watch made to order from Coventry with their signature already in place, the serial number being that of the maker. They are listed as supplying the Navy with watches and chronometers. This one has bright cut deep etching and really is in top condition. It is inscribed inside the case Minnie Mitchell Melbourne 1908... and yes it is working
