Signed Photos and Letters from Hitlers Successor Karl Doenitz
This Lot is a very interesting lot. Our Vendors Father was Manfred Schroeder, who was an Officer on U-Boats for the Third Reich in WWII. He became friends with Grand Admiral Karl Doenitz who was the Man that took over Germany when Hitler Died. He organised and Authorised the unconditional surrender of Germany to the Allies.This lot includes many hand written letters over two decades from Grand Admiral Doenitz to Manfred Schroeder. It also includes two Photos of the Admiral Hand Signed. There is also a collection of Manfreds Books inc one written by Admiral Doenitz. there is a Book for German Immigrants to Australia (like a community book), there is a Tie for U-boat Personnel, and a Brass Model of a German U-Boat. A Good Bulk Lot... those photos signed of Grand Admiral Doenitz are worth a bit...
