Stuart Devlin Hallmarked Sterling Silver Salt & Peppers
Stuart Leslie Devlin AO CMG (9 October 1931 – 12 April 2018) was an Australian artist and metalworker who specialised in gold and silver. He designed coins for countries around the world, and became especially well known as a London-based designer of collectors' items in the 1970s and 1980s. He won the competition to design Australia's first decimal currency, and his initials are on the 1966 Round 50c Coin. This pair of Salt and Peppers are in beautiful condition. They are hallmarked with the SD, and the London mark with Lion Passant. They measure 7cm high.
