Three Large UGB English/Australian Apothecary Bottles
These Amber bottles are marked UGB (for the United Glass Bottle of England), and AGM (for the Australian Glass Manufacturing Company)
UGB started making bottles back in 1913. They were a conglomeration of five different bottle companies that joined forces to pool resources that would allow them to purchase the American made Owens Bottle Making Machine.
Two of these three large bottles have their original, intact cork bottle stoppers, they are approximately 26cms high and in top condition (bar a slight hairline to the base of one). these would have been apothecary bottles or Lab bottles.
The bottles look to have been produced in a two part blow mold, with a slide at the foot.
These bottles look to date back to the late 1920s, or 1930s.
The odd one is the AGM bottle and that mark dates it it 1937-1945, its in top condition

Tweed Heads, Mermaid Beach and the other is Southport. For all larger items just email us and we can suggest a number of carriers to assist with interstate or local door to door delivery. We do not have time to ship anymore so please understand you must use Pack & Send, or Furniture carriers for larger items. Collection time frame is strictly 5 days after the auction... which is by 5pm the Friday following the sale
