Three Pieces of Antique French Tolè Items
The term tôle, derived from the French tôle peinte, meaning "painted sheet metal". This first started in the 18th Century, and it soon spread to timber and paper Mache. These are three antique Tole Pieces. One is a folding three piece shelf, one is a Brush Pan, and the third piece is a scalloped round tray. These are all in excellent condition. These are an uncollected consignment from years ago. There is no damage. The tray measures 31cm Diameter
