A 200 Year Old Burmese Carving of Man with Large Testicles
There is clearly some significance to the depiction in this carving. It seems to be a man in a tree with head scarfe around him, and no pants on showing rather large Genitals. I have researched this for a long time and cannot find the meaning of this carving. Our Vendor Bought it in Burma on his travels and felt it was very old and significant, but has not himself uncovered much information on it. The grain in the timber is very worn, it almost feels like its on its way to being petrified. It has been mounted on a modern black stand for display. Under a light in a wall niche it would be spectacular.
It stands 70cm high
