A c1850 Late Qing Dynasty Sang De Boeuf Glazed Parrot
How good is this. Sang De Boeuf is a deep ox blood colour with streaks of Purple or Turquoise. It first started appearing on Chinese Ceramics at the start of the 18th Century. This is a parrot or Cockerel standing on a pierced Rock, c1850 with no damage (not even to the beak)
Lovely age to the base, this is a good piece. It measures approx 21cm high
