An Art Deco Figure on Onyx Base c1920
This is an interesting piece. The figure seems to have been painted red (sometime during its life) but where the red paint is coming off you can see the chrome beneath. The figure is obviously originally a polished chrome deco figure. Then the face and hands could very well be carved ivory, but its very hard to tell as they are yellowing and a bit dirty. She is also missing one finger. Then she stands atop a two tier Onyx Base. With a bit of careful restoration this could be a very special piece. A bit of a sleeper i think.
